John A. Potts
Founder and President
Extensive Leadership Experience
John served over 29 years in the Department of Defense, most recently as a senior-level executive with a proven track record of driving transformational change and delivering results in large, complex organizations. Known for his agile, customer-focused approach, he excels at making strategic and operational impact in high-stakes environments and developing and implementing effective action plans.
Diverse Consulting and Management Roles
Prior to launching CornerBrooke, LLC, he served as a senior principal consultant at a boutique management consulting firm known for its client-centered strategy execution and organizational transformation. He later became the managing director of a woman-owned business. He was accountable for the company’s defense services portfolio, consisting of more than 390 employees, working on four separate, distinct programs.
Distinguished Military Leadership
While serving in the US Army, John served in a multitude of leadership positions, culminating as the chief of staff and principal director for the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency. He successfully built effective teams and overcame challenges within highly stressful and fiscally constrained environments.

Frank Turner
Director
Distinguished Military Leadership
Frank served more than 22 years in the Department of Army serving in a multitude of leadership and staff positions as both an Army Aviator and an Army Strategist. Most recently, he was detailed to the U.S. Department of State as Military Deputy to the Director of the Policy and Plans Division in the Office of Emergency Management where his team was responsible for the domestic resilience of more than 30,000 employees in more than 200 facilities. While there, he teamed with Diplomatic Security to produce the State Department’s interactive, online Active Shooter training package. As the very first Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Fellow, Frank researched and published works on the Army Industrial Base, the way forward on Individual Soldier Power, the Soldier for Life Program, and the Army’s Way Forward in Cyberspace. At CornerBrooke, Frank is a Director leading Operations and Business Development.

Gina Grosso
Account Executive
Extensive Leadership Experience
Lieutenant General Gina Grosso, USAF (Ret) served as the Assistant Secretary for Human Resources and Administration/Operations, Security, and Preparedness at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) from June 2020 to December 2023. In this role she led a staff of 1,100 employees and judiciously executed a $120 million annual budget. Through her leadership the VA onboarded 50,000 new employees over a 30-month period which increased the VA workforce 12%–this was unprecedented growth. She also overcame 3-years of stalled staffing to implement an effective governance model that significantly improved the law enforcement oversight for the 6,000 police officers working across the VA.
Diverse Consulting and Management Roles
Prior to serving in the VA, Gina served as the Vice President for Air Force programs at Golden Key Group, a woman owned small business. In this role she shaped strategy, business processes, growth opportunities, and the future corporate direction as a member of GKG’s corporate leadership team. She was also directly responsible for the profit and loss of the $10.2M Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps and National Guard Bureau Functional Support Services contracts.
Distinguished Military Leadership
Gina served in the United States Air Force for 32-years. Gina was the Air Force’s first female Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower, Personnel and Services. In this role, she was for responsible for program and policy execution across the human capital lifecycle for 670,000 military and civilian airmen. She led a staff of 3,500 employees and a $758 million budget. During her tenure in this role, she grew the Air Force by 14,000 airmen over a 3-year period, drove digital transformation, seamlessly integrated a new 401K-like military retirement system that impacted 350,000+ airmen, and led and executed the $30M 2018 Department of Defense Warrior Games that included 300+ wounded service members from four nations. Service members competed in 11 paralympic-style sporting events and experienced a life changing event for the athletes, their families, and attendees.
